My Background: I hold a Bachelors degree in Economics, with an emphasis in Mathematics, from San Francisco State College. I am a decorated Air Force fighter pilot. I have worked as a Product Service Instructor for McDonnell-Douglas Aircraft Corporation, an Operations Researcher, a Design Engineer, and a Program Manager for General Dynamics Corporation, a Marketing Manager for Cincinnati Electronics Corporation and Director of their CELECT Division. I started Richardson Research & Retrieval, a research company specializing in business and competitive intelligence, in 1994 and now specialize only in freelance writing.
My Skills: Given my background I've been exposed to the complex and the mundane, the technical and the simple. I've seen -- and participated in -- business as practiced by both the large corporation and the small businessman. I've learned to understand complex and complicated concepts and know how to translate them so the average Joe-bag-of-doughnuts can understand. I can do this by stringing words together in such a fashion as to paint pictures in the reader's mind. In short, I can translate your ideas into a language your customers will understand.
